Our client, a well- known luxury retail brand is looking for a Sales Director to manager their wholesale business along with a dedicated team. The key responsibilities of this role will include:



• Drive profitable sales through full ownership of the brand’s P&L, within a strong dealer network base


• Evaluate new opportunities & creative ways to build business within select doors via superior visual merchandizing & in-store activation


• Maintain particular focus through the Sales Executives, in the UAE & Saudi Arabian markets


• Drives commercial performance, profitability & growth in line with client group’s overarching wholesale strategy


• Develops a prospection strategy to open new opportunities, constantly evaluates performance at existing doors to recommend door openings & closures as the case may be


• Monitors product assortment, slow moving references, exchanges, returns etc. to maintain an optimum mix across the network


• Ensures timely & periodic training for dealer staff & own personnel


• Develops a format to monitor & share competitive insights around launches, pricing, promotional activity etc. & shares internally


• Stay abreast with changing market trends, proactively communicate & take action steps to stay ahead




Ideal candidate must possess exemplary people skills in order to run a team of staff members, & work closely with the leadership. The job incumbent must be aware & fully prepared to take on P&L responsibilities. Reasonable knowledge & expertise in luxury retail, in a developed market at a senior position for 2-5 years is required. The candidate must be prepared to travel locally, regionally & internationally. Strong communication of the English language & Strong analytical & presentation skills are essential for this role. The client needs the potential candidate to display financial acumen, understanding of pricing, margins, profitability & a flare for visual merchandizing. A bachelor’s degree, MBA from a reputable institution is preferred
